I became lost with earthly desires and intentions

I became lost with earthly desires and intentions when I looked at people for direction and guidance instead of turning my attention to God. I believe everyone on earth is here to learn something. The universe will give us plenty of opportunities to learn our lessons.

At times, life was so difficult that it seemed like I was trying to find my way through a maze, blindfolded, with people jabbing me with needles at every turn. Sometimes life isn’t pleasant. Character builds strength. Strength builds courage. Courage builds endurance. Endurance builds hope.

God is in and of our world. He is near us and around us. God works through His children who are faithful and obedient to Him. He speaks gently with love to help us understand what is most important in our lives. God gives us different gifts. It is up to us to find our gift. Some have the gift of encouraging, teaching, serving, giving, leadership, wisdom, knowledge, and some have the gift of performing miracles.
