I Continued to Lay Shivering

Last night was interesting. First of all, I had been cold all afternoon and evening. Steve was ready to go to church. Something told me to muscle test to see if it was positive for me to go with him. My testing was negative. I continued to lay shivering under 2 blankets, while Steve went to church. When he returned home an hour later, I was still chilled. He told me it was best I didn't go with him. There wasn't any place for me to sit in our usual spots. So he had to go up stairs. Let me explain, I have to sit in the foyer in the high back couch for my head to have something to rest on. My testing turned out to be somewhat like fortune telling for myself. It has helped me numerous times before.

After Steve came home, he wanted to go out to eat. The weekends are his time to relax over a dinner out. So I got ready to go out with him. The restaurant we normally frequent, was packed full of people wining and dining. Fortunately, we had a reservation. Our server couldn't have been nicer. She was bubbly and very attentive to our needs. She brought our food as I was in the restroom. When I returned to the table, it wasn't exactly what I ordered. The fish wasn't blackened and they brought mashed potatoes instead of mushrooms. She was very apologetic. I did not react. Servers don't have it as easy as one may think. They seem to take the blame for a mess up in the kitchen. People could stay for 2 - 3 hours at the same table which cuts into their tips. The customers can complain about food quality, service, wait time, condition of the food, etc...They have a tough job. Working as a waitress in college gave me a glimpse of how difficult working with the public is.
